Classic nails: French Manicure

Do it yourself french tip manicure.
This design will always be in style because of it's simplicity. Here are some easy tips to help you do your own French manicure:

Step 1
Clean, clip, shape your nails and tend to your cuticles.

Step 2
Use scotch tape to follow the tip of each nail.

Step 3
Paint each nail tip white, extending the brush stroke from the top of the guide to the end of the nail.

Step 4
Remove the tape.

Step 5
Let it dry.

Step 6
Apply last coating (colorless) to add shine :)

Yipppppeeeee all done!!!!

**********************************

I decided to add some tiny flowers on the side to make my nails more fun ( sometimes I get bored with french tips hihihi).

Have a wonderful Monday and don't forget to :)

SUNFLOWER CLEANSING OIL

100% natural, moisturizing make-up remover works twice as hard as it cleans away make-up while hydrating and nourishing your skin and conditioning your lashes. So at the end of the day, you can confidently take it all off!

            200ml 295 pesos

This cleansing oil removes stubborn make up, it keeps the skin rejuvenated without making it oily. It helps brighten your face and unclog pores to reveal glowing radiant skin.

THE GOOD AND THE BAD

Sunflower beauty oil
I have dry skin on my legs and I apply sunflower oil during night time (it locks in moisture 20x compared to other expensive lotions).  I also use it on my hair, soft and shiny all day! I had a major problem with my scalp last month (was allergic to "R" shampoo) so I experimented, before washing my hair I rub sunflower oil on my scalp and was freed from the itch. This product reduces dark circles around my eye and nourishes my eyelashes too!!! It's packed with vitamins A, D & E to help fight and protect skin from infections and irritants.

Sunflower cleansing oil
I use this product to remove make up before washing my face.

What is the final verdict?

Amazing results!!! affordable price!!! I love this miracle oil!

A (Post) Valentine's Day dinner with co-teachers

We celebrated our annual Valentine's Day dinner on a Friday, February 17 so we could avoid traffic and we could stay up late (no work the next day). We decided to dine at Mushu, owned by Chef Jayps of Junior Masterchef (teacher pia's bff).

Here's a sneak peek of what we ordered:

 Salt and pepper tofu
with crispy shallots, garlic and soy honey dip

Chicken adobo flakes
with cream cheese, egg and chinese chorizo
(teacher pia's ultimate fave)

Beef kebab with house pita

Sweet and sour pork cutlets
with bell pepper, pineapple and pandan rice or garlic rice (plain rice)

Crispy Lapu-lapu fillet
with teriyaki sauce and garlic rice

sizzling balut @ 11 degrees art district
(pia and martin's fave!! they ordered twice hahaha)

Goody spin pins

GOODY DID IT AGAIN!!!
I like goody products, they may be a little expensive but it can last for years, they've been producing hair goodies that are innovative and stylish.
I remember, when I was a kid my mom used to buy their classic barettes in different colors.
Goody invented spin pins and I so love them for I like to put my hair up during lazy days. These screw-like pins are perfect, they can hold better than 20 bobby pins.

Step 1
make a bun (the messier the better)

 Step 2
twist the pins inside your hair

 all done!!!

Whats the final verdict?
Goody spin pins are perfect for lazy and bad hair days!!!
It can also give you lovely beach curls after taking off the bun. You need a little practice to get the perfect hair up do, but once the spin pins are in place, believe me your hair is secure and it'll give you a glam look :)

Thanks for reading. I hope you find this review helpful :)
